Each year the Australian Association of Graduate Employers (AAGE) rewards outstanding examples of excellence in the graduate recruitment and development industry through its annual AAGE Graduate Recruitment Industry Awards ("the AGRIAs"). The winners of the 2012 AGRIAs were announced at the awards Gala Dinner, which took place on Thursday 15th November 2012 during the AAGE Annual Conference. 2012 AAGE 'Lite' Conference: Saver Rates Operating until - Friday 30th November 2012
The AAGE ‘Lite’ Conference is a slimmed down version of the AAGE's Annual Conference. The AAGE 'Lite' Conference is being held in Perth on Tuesday 11 December 2012.
We recognise that many of the AAGE's Members based in Western Australia do not always have the budget or time to attend our Annual Conference on the East Coast. To address this, we have decided to offer our WA Members a taste of our Annual Conference through our AAGE 'Lite' Conference.
The AAGE ‘Lite’ Conference will include a selection of workshops and speakers from our Annual Conference, providing our WA members with the chance to experience the wealth of knowledge and networking opportunities our Annual Conference has to offer. 2013 AAGE Surveys .
Following their launch at the recent AAGE Graduate Recruitment & Development Conference in Melbourne, we are pleased to provide you with an opportunity to purchase the 2013 AAGE Candidate Survey and 2013 AAGE Employer Survey reports.

Report on AAGE Attendance at New Zealand Conference
Ben Reeves and Paul Russell represented the AAGE at the inaugural conference of the New Zealand Association of Graduate Employers (NZAGE) which was held in Auckland on Tuesday 20 November 2012.
NZAGE
The NZAGE was created around 12 months ago. The inspiration for setting up the association came about from New Zealanders attending the AAGE Annual Conference. The NZAGE is run almost exclusively by volunteers who all have day jobs as graduate recruiters.

2012 NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF GRADUATE CAREERS ADVISORY SERVICES (NAGCAS) ANNUAL CONFERENCE 2nd - 5th December 2012, Perth and Fremantle, Western Australia. Employers are invited to participate in the 2012 NAGCAS Annual Conference, being jointly hosted by the five Western Australian Universities: Curtin University, Edith Cowan University, Notre Dame University, Murdoch University and The University of Western Australia. Our Committee Up Close
This month we introduce you to Ms Lucy Hood. Based in Sydney, Lucy is the Graduate Programs Advisor for Arrium (formerly OneSteel). Within her role she plans and executes the recruitment strategy for all campus hires (graduate, summer, cadetships and scholars), coordinates tactical university relations activities and assists with the running of entry-level talent and leadership programs. A relative newcomer to the graduate recruitment world, she is thoroughly enjoying working in this area and is overwhelmed by the level of passion and support shown by others in the industry. Lucy previously worked in a sports PR, media and events role at a UK university.
