DIRECTORS Paul Russell -- AAGE Director and Chair Director, Programme Delivery, Programmes, Australian Public Service Commission (APSC) Paul is the Director of Programme Delivery with the Australian Public Service Commission (APS) in Canberra. The Programme Delivery Team is a key national delivery mechanism for the Commission's strategy for leadership, learning and development and APS graduates. As the AAGE Chair, Paul brings a wide range of experience, knowledge and networks, both in human resources and in the field of graduate recruitment and development. Paul is currently working in the 'whole of government' area, focusing on graduate development. Paul has a strong public sector background with interests in workforce and strategic planning, learning and development, and evaluation. Paul is one of the Australian representatives on the International Network of Graduate Recruitment and Development Associations (INGRADA) committee and holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of NSW.
Ainsley Gilkes -- AAGE Director Sourcing & Talent Pipelines Manager, OneSteel 
Ainsley leads the strategic resourcing of 'emerging talent' pipelines and develops OneSteel's capability to creatively source experienced hires. She also oversees various L&D iniatives including leadership programs for high potential entry-level and senior managerial talent. Ainsley came to HR from roles in higher education & marketing; and has formerly been a Director of the Enterprise Network for Young Australians, an advisory board member for both public and private sector organisations and has represented Australia at several diplomatic programs overseas. Ainsley holds a BA Comm (PubComm), a MIR and is currently studying a M AppSci (PsychCoach). Her interests include leadership development, social recruitment, marcomms, and coaching psychology. Carla Acuna -- AAGE Director Manager, Talent Acquisition and Retention, Australia Post 
Carla's career extends between various functions, including a business partner role for the CFO, business development and to her current strategic talent acquisition role in their corporate office. Having experience in change management, she has implemented major HR initiatives in Australia Post including the roll out of emotional intelligence and HR process re-engineering. In her current role, Carla is responsible for Australia Post's talent acquisition strategy covering recruitment, employment value proposition and branding. She then launched their Enterprise-wide Graduate Program leveraging from their employment value proposition and linking to their organisation's overall talent management strategy. Carla has a Bachelor of Business in HR and a Masters in Organisational Change and Development. Naomi McQuaid -- AAGE Director Accounting and Finance Graduate Program Manager, Department of Treasury and Finance, Victorian State Government Naomi joined the Victorian Department of Treasury & Finance in 2002 and has held a variety of generalist HR and graduate management roles within the organisation. In her current role, she manages accounting & finance graduate recruitment & development for all Victorian Government departments and delivers generalist HR advice within the Department of Treasury & Finance. Naomi is presently on secondment to the Victorian Leadership Development Centre, where she is involved in delivering high-potential programs and developing best-practice approaches to leadership development and talent and succession management. Naomi has a Bachelor of Music, a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment and a Masters of Commerce. Her interests include talent management, coaching, workforce strategy and leadership development.
Rohan Holland -- AAGE Director Graduate Programs Advisor, BP Australia Rohan is the Graduate Program Adviser at BP. His responsibilities include leading the direction and strategy of recruitment and development for the BP Graduate Programs in Australia and New Zealand. With over 12 years’ recruitment / resourcing experience Rohan joins us, having previously run graduate programs for WMC Resources and BHP Billiton. He has also spent two years working in London for Global Career Company and most recently in a Recruitment leadership role for Rio Tinto, based in Perth, and has previously served the AAGE as both a committee member and director.
COMMITTEE Adam Buxton Graduate Recruitment Manager, Teach for Australia Adam is the Graduate Recruitment Manager at Teach For Australia, and is responsible for developing the selection criteria and process for this innovative and ground-breaking social enterprise. Adam is also responsible for managing associated external corporate relationships. Prior to joining Teach For Australia, Adam was the HR Manager for Graduate Recruitment at KPMG and has significant Graduate Recruitment experience gained from roles in Australia and the UK. Amanda Casabene Graduate & Internship Manager, L'Oréal Australia Amanda is the Graduate and Internship Manager at L’Oréal Australia based in Melbourne. She started in the Graduate Recruitment space in 2005 when she completed her co-operative year at Ford Motor Company as the Recruitment Coordinator overseeing the Graduate and Co-op program. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Business with a Major in Human Resource Management as well as a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. In her current role she oversees the management trainee program across the Consumer, Professional and Luxury products division. Amanda is passionate about promoting undergraduate opportunities such as internships and co-operative placements to students who want to graduate with more than just a degree.
Angela Shooter Senior People & Performance Advisor, Australia New Zealand, AECOM Ann-Maree McTaggart Canberra, ACT Ann-Maree has been most recently the program manager, graduate development, at the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS). This role included responsibility for managing the graduate development program, including transitioning graduate development strategies into the wider leadership and management program. Ann-Maree is an experienced graduate recruitment & development professional with ten years' experience in the ABS and APS, managing graduate selection processes.
Caroline Ralph Recruitment Program Manager, Graduates - Ernst & Young Caroline is the National Graduate Recruitment Manager for Ernst & Young in Australia. Caroline has worked in the graduate recruitment industry since 2003. Caroline's role at Ernst & Young is to develop and implement the national strategy and process for Ernst & Young's national graduate recruitment campaigns.
Emma Kilcoyne Recruitment Programs Coordinator, SA Water Corporation  With over four years in the recruitment industry Emma has transitioned into the role of Recruitment Programs Coordinator at SA Water overseeing their graduate, scholarship and work experience programs. She has a Bachelor in Behavioural Science (Psychology) and is currently undertaking her Masters in HRM. Emma's focus is on providing SA Water with talented graduates to develop them as leaders in the business through the variety of development programs run at SA Water. Emma is passionate about ensuring the future of SA Water's leadership through the next generations skill, ingenuity and fresh ideas. Hayley Warne HR Advisor, Pitcher Partners Hayley is a HR consultant at Pitcher Partners. Her role involves managing the Summer Vacation, Internship and Graduate Programs including the national print and online marketing campaigns. Together with her team she also manages the healthy life program and study support programs among various other things. Hayley’s previous work experience includes being a program manager for a web-based company as well as spending some time in the government sector. Prior to forging her career in HR, Hayley played elite level netball for Melbourne Phoenix, Canberra Darters and held a scholarship at the AIS for two years while representing Australia. Hayley has an undergraduate degree in Science with majors in Psychology and Psychophysiology, as well as a Masters of Business in Human Resource Management. Hayley is a past chair of the ICAA Careers Marketing Advisory Panel. Margaret Toohey Graduate Development Program Co-ordinator, Water Corporation Margaret coordinates the Graduate Development Program at the Water Corporation in Perth, Western Australia. Margaret has extensive experience in training and development, recruitment and mentoring. She works with the managers and graduates to ensure that the program offers great learning, valuable rotations and ongoing personal development to Water Corporation's engineering, science and finance graduates.
Nicole Oates Corporate Graduate & Cadet Coordinator, Brisbane City Council  Nicole has worked for the Brisbane City Council in the Human Resources area since 1993 and is currently the Employment Program Coordinator - Cadets and Graduates. In the past 12 months she has worked in partnership with the other Employment Program Coordinator to manage the recruitment and development processes for cadets and graduates. Nicole has also worked on a range of consultancy and corporate projects and is accredited in Career Coaching and MBTI. Suzanne Hardstaff Graduate Recruitment Manager, Deutsche Australia Su joined Deutsche Bank in 2005, and since then has held a number of roles within human resources. Based in Sydney, Su is currently the Head of Graduate Recruitment. She is responsible for managing the annual graduate recruitment process for Deutsche's offices in Auckland, Melbourne and Sydney. Su also manages the summer internship program including aspects such as program development, training, assessment and feedback. Su is on the charity committee for Deutsche Bank and is passionate about participating in and promoting the bank's corporate social responsibility initiatives. Su holds a BA (hons) Business Degree from Birmingham University and is currently completing the last unit of the Australian Human Resources Institute Professional Diploma.
CONSULTANTS Ben Reeves -- AAGE Chief Executive Ben has worked in a variety of talent management and recruitment roles with Baker & McKenzie, BankWest, Minter Ellison, KPMG, Arthur Andersen and Philips Fox. Before this he worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers in London for several years, initially as a chartered accountant and then in various HR-related roles. Ben has been involved with the running of the AAGE since 2003. He has held the roles of Committee Member, Treasurer, Director and Executive Director. In early 2007 Ben was appointed as the AAGE's Chief Executive. Ben has a degree in physics and is a Chartered Accountant.

Wendy Whitla -- AAGE Marketing Manager Wendy joined the AAGE in 2004 to assist in maintaining & growing the member base, news & activities, responding to queries and initially handling the accounts. In 2006 Wendy also took on the conference manager role, but relinquished the accounts and events from her fold, as the AAGE welcomed two new staff members. Prior to joining the AAGE, Wendy was a senior consultant for Clemenger Harvie Edge, handling the public relations (PR) for a number of retainer clients and a part-time lecturer in Marketing for RMIT University. Wendy also previously worked in PR & advertising for Melbourne's Hilton Hotel and cosmetics wholesaler, Natio.

. Rachal Morice -- AAGE Accounts Manager Rachal joined the AAGE in May 2007 to manage the accounts. Rachal has a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Accounting, a Bachelor of Education, and a Post Graduate Certificate in Human Resources. Rachal commenced her professional career as an Accountant at KPMG; working on several audits of the ASX Top 200 listed companies. Rachal moved across to KPMG's Human Resources division and until January 2006 Rachal was the National Graduate Recruitment Manager. Rachal is a former member of the AAGE.

. Samantha Duff -- AAGE Events Coordinator Samantha joined the AAGE in May 2008, after we farewelled Jane Davies to have her first baby. Samantha has extensive experience in event co-ordination after many years working in the hospitality industry and also running her own cafe/catering business. Past employers include Peter Rowland Catering, Epicure Catering and the National Gallery of Victoria. Samantha also has a Bachelor of Business with a major in Human Resources. Shanan Green -- AAGE Research Manager Shanan's involvement with the AAGE began in 2005 when she first joined the AAGE Committee, before becoming an AAGE Director in 2006. Until her departure in October 2007, Shanan spent eight years with Macquarie Bank where her most recent appointment was as the Head of Recruitment. During her career at Macquarie, Shanan also lead the Graduate Recruitment Team for three years, worked in IT recruitment and was responsible for the MBA Scholarship Program. Shanan has an honours degree in Economics (Social Science) from the University of Sydney.

Katrina Harrington -- AAGE Research Manager Katrina's involvement with the AAGE has spanned eight years now, having originally joined the committee back in 2001 and taking over the role of President in 2002. Katrina's experience in the graduate recruitment and human resources arenas has been extensive, notably with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). Katrina spent over three years as National Graduate Recruitment Manager, and later moved into the role of Senior Human Resources Manager, High Performance Culture, a role which focussed on cultural and organisational change. Prior to joining PricewaterhouseCoopers, Katrina's roles included generalist HR positions with both MLC and Lend Lease and customer service with Westpac. Katrina has a degree in Psychology from Macquarie University, and a Masters in Employment Relations with the University of Technology, Sydney.
