2018 Adelaide Law Careers Fair

The 2018 Adelaide Law Careers Fair will be held on Friday 16th March 2018 at the Adelaide Convention Centre.

What is the Adelaide Law Careers Fair?

The Adelaide Law Careers Fair is a one day careers fair targeting penultimate and final year law students, particularly those interested in obtaining a Summer Clerkship or Graduate employment.   

This event is promoted to current law students and recent law graduates from all universities in South Australia.

This is a fantastic opportunity for law students to meet and speak with potential future employers from Australia’s leading law firms, government departments, and educational institutions.

The Adelaide Law Careers Fair will run in conjunction with The Big Meet Careers fair, a premium event that will feature employers from all industries within Australia.

If you have limited time, resources or budget, the Adelaide Law Careers Fair is the ideal way to reach law students from all universities in one day.

What does it cost? 

Indicative pricing is listed below. Please note, prices will vary depending on when you book and whether your firm is an existing member of the Australian Association of Graduate Employers (AAGE). Pricing will also vary based on the number of spaces being booked.

Basic Exhibitor Package: "Space Only"  $850+GST ($650+GST for AAGE Members)

Our basic exhibitor package is called "Space Only". Each exhibitor will be provided with the following inclusions:

  • Exhibition space approximately 3 metres wide by 3 metres deep 
  • Trestle table, table cloth and 2 chairs for each exhibitor.
  • Connection to a power supply.
  • Catering for up to 5 of the exhibitor's staff.

Exhibitors will need to bring their own display banner(s) and promotional literature. 

Please note that a "Space Only" package does not have any walls for hanging/sticking posters.

If you want to have a larger display area then you can purchase 2 or 3 "Space Only" packages.

Additional Item 1 : Walled Display Booth $450+GST

A purpose built "Walled Display Booth" can be ordered for an additional fee of $450 + GST per space.

Under this option exhibitors receive everything provided under the "Space Only" package plus the "Walled Display Booth".

The "Walled Display Booth" includes fascia signs displaying the exhibitor's name and carpeted walls which are velcro compatible.

Additional Item 2 : Catering at your Stall $200+GST

If you want to bring along significant food or drink items to give out during the fair there will be an additional fee of $200.00+GST.  Examples of significant food or drink items might be bottles of mineral water, muffins, cupcakes, popcorn machines, juicing machines, ice cream machines etc. 

Both branded and non-branded items of this nature fall within the definition of significant food items and must be organised through the venue only.  You must list these items within your registration form.    

Minor items such as branded or non branded lollies and mints do not count as significant food items and do not attract fees and you do not have to indicate these items on the registration form. 

Please note that the event venue may levy its own fees and charges on exhibitors providing food and drinks.

Sponsorship 

There will be a variety of sponsorship opportunities available for exhibitors. Details of these sponsorship packages will be communicated in due course.
