The 2024 Candidate Survey is based on research conducted by the AAGE with over 3,600 responses from candidates joining 156 different organisations in 2024.

The AAGE Candidate Survey provides insights into the motivations and perceptions of, and experience with, the 2024 graduate campaign including:

• Factors which influence application and offer acceptance decisions
• Experience through the recruitment and selection process
• The use of artificial intelligence in recruitment and selection processes
• Discernment around offer acceptance and the reasons why candidates renege
• An understanding of ideal working arrangements.

Released each year, this study was the first of its kind to be made commercially available. Outlining some important and interesting trends in our growing industry, the survey captures responses from various industry organisations, providing ways for members to benchmark themselves against their competitors and help them to plan for upcoming graduate recruitment campaigns. Members who participate in the research receive a complimentary soft copy of the report and other members are eligible to purchase the Insights Report at a discounted rate.
